Yayasan Pendidikan dan Sosial Islamic Al-Markazi Bengkulu (Islamic Al-Markazi Bengkulu Foundation for Education and Social Development) is a non-profit foundation dedicated to education, research, community engagement, and social empowerment. Since its establishment, the Foundation has been committed to improving the quality of human resources through an educational approach rooted in Islamic values, academic excellence, and sustainable development.
The Foundation has developed a number of flagship programs to address the educational and social needs of the community. These include Rumah Tahfiz Al-Markazi, a center for Qur’an memorization and Islamic character development; Insan Cendekia: Journal of Islamic, Social, and Educational Studies, a peer-reviewed scholarly journal that serves as a platform for academic publication and knowledge dissemination; and Madu Al-Markaz, a social enterprise that supports the sustainability of the Foundation’s educational and community development initiatives. In addition, the Foundation actively collaborates with universities, educational institutions, organizations, and strategic partners at both the national and international levels.
Guided by its commitment to education and community engagement, the Foundation strives to make a meaningful contribution to developing a generation that is grounded in faith, enriched by knowledge, guided by strong moral values, and well prepared to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world.
Flagship Programs
E-Journal
Insan Cendekia: Journal of Islamic, Social, and Educational Studies is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal that provides a platform for disseminating research in the fields of Islamic studies, social sciences, and education. The journal is professionally managed to promote high-quality academic publications and contribute to the advancement of knowledge.
Madu Al Markaz
Madu Al-Markaz is the Foundation’s social enterprise offering pure natural honey, including honey from honey bees and stingless bees (Trigona spp.). Produced and hygienically packaged to preserve its natural quality, the products help support the sustainability of the Foundation’s educational and community development programs.
Rumah Tahfidz Al-Markaz
Rumah Tahfiz Al-Markazi is an Islamic learning center dedicated to Qur’an recitation (tahsin), memorization (tahfiz), and character development for children and adolescents. The program provides structured and continuous Qur’anic education to nurture faith, moral values, and lifelong learning.
